A: I have asked TCM whether they have a policy in place and they have said they do not have a policy as such. None of the traders at New Watford Market are currently selling fur products according to TCM.
We would be happy to review any Animal Welfare Charters and policy wording you could provide. Although no fur is being sold at New Watford Market, TCM have said they would welcome any suggestion for policy wording or stall holder agreement wording.

We do allow the sale of sheepskin products and also at Christmas we allow our trader from Lapland to sell Reindeer hide. This is herded and grazed just as we do with sheep. However we do not have the Lappish trader attending Harrow. We do not permit any other sales of animal hide or fur.
We did not receive any information regarding any of the other operators.

London Borough of Brent Council has the following markets: This authority currently does not manage any markets. It does allow use of its land for fairs and festivals. Impossible to list all the traders we licence. However, whatever the event the local authority does not allow sale of animal fur or any performing animal acts.
