Fur for Animals competition proves a huge success

Some months ago we asked supporters to back a new and exciting initiative that we were calling ‘Fur for Animals’. Thanks to you, after raising funds through our newsletter and a Crowdfunder campaign, we were able to go ahead with the project.  We sponsored a competition through the world-renowned creative organisation D&AD for the world’s most talented young designers and creatives to develop ideas for effective social media anti-fur campaigns.

After receiving hundreds of top quality entries, exceeding the numbers generated by the briefs set by Amazon and Adobe, we embarked on a lengthy but enjoyable judging process. After watching and reviewing every single one of the incredibly high standard of entries, we were able to pick a long list of potential winners. Respect for Animals director, Mark Glover, then joined a team consisting of some of the best creative social media professionals in the country to decide on the winners of D&AD’s prestigious ‘Pencil’ prizes.

In the near future we will introduce you to the winners and their inspirational ideas, so watch this space.
